Where Detent connects today, and what to check before you do. Last updated July 19, 2026.

Detent runs locally on your own account credentials as a trader-operated, post-entry risk tool. It reacts to trades you place; it runs no strategy and places no entries. Whether a firm permits a third-party risk tool is set by that firm’s own live terms, and those terms change often.

Before you buy or connect, confirm your firm currently permits a trader-operated third-party risk tool running on your own credentials. The list below is our best current read. It is not a guarantee, and not legal or compliance advice.

“Detent adapter” describes our own build status. It implies no relationship with, or endorsement by, any firm or platform. “Firm rules checked” is when we last read published terms across that category — re-confirm your own firm’s live terms yourself before relying on them. A platform is listed only after we’ve built and tested the connection.

Compatibility follows the platform your account trades on, not the firm behind it, so one row can cover several firms. Your firm names its platform on its own download or connection page. Account size makes no difference — the common funded sizes ($25k, $50k, $100k, $150k) all behave the same here; the size only sets the limits you type into your rules.
